Website Redesign

The new

Hello all! Last time I posted I spoke about making goals. One of my goals for the new year was to revamp my old website, which is why I’ve been so quiet the past couple weeks. Today I’m unveiling the newly designed

I originally planned to code the new site from scratch back on the server where my old website resided, but then I thought about all the nice features WordPress offers and how much faster it would be to set up the site here, the same place where I keep my blog. Seemed to make more sense.

So…TA DAH! This is now my new home on the web for anything related to my writing, teaching and crafting.

I did have a separate section on my old website that was specific to my crochet work, particularly the custom dolls I make. Since it was more of a pictorial showcase of finished items than an educational or interactive site, I didn’t think it fit with the overall plan for the new website, which is to reach out to you, my fellow readers, writers and crafters, and exchange information.

But fear not my doll-collecting fans, the site is still alive. I have moved it to, with its own site redesign that I’ll be finishing in the next few days. There will be some cross-over information between the two sites with regard to patterns I publish (that is writing after all), but if you’re one of my long-time custom doll fans interested in what new dresses I’m making, is the site for you!

Thank you for visiting my blog today, and I hope you come back soon. I have a lot of things to share with you over the coming months.
